Earlier the South Korean party through its Prime Minister gave a statement that there is a possibility that North Korea will launch an intercontinental ballistic missile right on North Korea’s national day which took place on September 9, but this is not as predictable. North Korea on that date did not conduct further provocation, but held several celebration events on that day.
Kim Jong Un is known to hold a banquet for nuclear scientists as well as high-ranking militia and party officials in North Korea as a form of appreciation for a successful September 3 hydrogen bomb test. The banquet was concluded with artistic and cultural performances and shooting with North Korean leaders, as reported by Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
Further KCNA did not provide information on the timing of the event, but analysts predict that the event may be held on September 9, 2017.
In a photograph released by KCNA on Sunday illustrating Kim Jong Un’s situation was smiling broadly accompanied by two leading North Korean scientists, Ri Hong Sop who is the head of the North Korean Nuclear Weapons Institute and Hong Sung Mu as deputy director of the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea’s munitions industry department, the location is in People’s Theater.
Ri and Hong have a central role in North Korea’s nuclear program, on any field inspection or weapons test, including the nuclear test on September 3, 2017, Ri and Hong are near Kim Jong-un.
Ri is a former director of the Yongbyon Nuclear Research Center, which is North Korea’s main nuclear facility in northern Pyongyang, while Hong serves as chief engineer.
North Korea claims that the latest nuclear test using a hydrogen bomb, no independent confirmation, but some western experts and analysts say there is strong evidence that the trial used a hydrogen bomb.
In his remarks, Kim praised the arms developers that they have successfully achieved the ultimate goal of building nuclear power in North Korea, in line with the vision of achieving the development of nuclear and economic development.
Kim said, “This latest hydrogen bomb test is a great victory won by the Korean people at the expense of the cost and blood, in which people tighten their belts for this achievement”.
KCNA says that scientists and technicians have succeeded in bringing major events to North Korea’s national history, through the successful trials of hydrogen bombs.
The roles of Ri and Hong make them blacklisted by United Nations, United States and South Korea.
North Koreans on September 9, 2017, commemorate the national day by visiting Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and laying floral baskets and bouquets, which was the birthplace of Kim Il Sung ( founding father ) and Kim Jong Il ( father of Kim Jong Un ).
